The time has come for my monthly portfolio update. At the end of every month, I will update my portfolio and comment on any changes. I do that for accountability and also so you may glean some ideas on how I allocate my capital. Purchases

The stock market rally continued this month from the bear market bottom on March 23. I continued to buy distressed airline and cruise stocks on dips, which have so far paid off, many giving double digit returns in just days as the market bounced back.

I made 18 stocks buys this month, to include 2 new buys: MGM and SNV, both of which dropped a lot more than than overall market and should rebound smartly as the market continues its recovery.

The smaller dollar amount of my purchases are part of my monthly investment plans and DRIPs.

Sales

I did not sell any stock this month, despite the market becoming rich again. My selling should be over for now, as the bear market is apparently over. The first year of a new bull market usually yields a very strong return. I have significantly reduced my tax drag from dividends and harvested a lot of capital losses thanks to the covid bear in March.
